Recently, the Communist Party of China and the National Institute of Steel Industry issued the "Several Opinions on Improving the Mechanism for Promoting Consumption and Further Stimulating the Consumption Potential of Residents" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions"). The Opinion proposes to expand consumption scale, increase consumption level, improve consumption structure, continuously meet the growing needs of the people for a better life, and enhance consumers' sense of gain, happiness, and security.

The Opinion involves various aspects of the people's food, clothing, use, housing, and transportation, almost all of which are related to the construction industry. For example, the Opinion clearly states that green consumption requires the establishment of a diversified supply system for green products, encourages the creation of circulation entities such as green shopping malls, green restaurants, and green e-commerce, opens up green product sales zones, and develops green building materials; Optimize the spatial layout of circulation facilities and vigorously develop community commerce such as convenience stores and community food stores; Cultural tourism and sports consumption require strengthening the construction of relevant public supporting infrastructure; Healthy elderly care household consumption involves the construction of sports venues, nursing homes, nursing homes, elderly care apartments, and so on.

This will inevitably accelerate the development of China's construction industry, thereby driving the rise of prefabricated buildings and the transformation and upgrading of the steel structure industry, and driving the demand for steel; At the same time, this also puts forward new requirements for the variety, quality, and performance of steel.

At present, the steel used in steel structure buildings is mostly domestic steel, which many domestic steel companies can produce. More powerful steel companies are entering the field of factory assembled buildings, promoting better and faster development of factory buildings. Independent development or strong alliance are the routes that steel enterprises can adopt in the future.
