In addition, the load-bearing components of lightweight steel structure buildings, including steel columns, steel beams, steel structure foundations, steel roof trusses (the span of the factory is relatively large, and now mostly steel roof trusses), and steel roofs, all use high-strength, lightweight, and high-performance plates, profiles, and steel pipes. At the same time, the components are connected by bolts, and there is also a large demand for cold heading steel.

In addition, with the increasing efforts in infrastructure construction in fields such as culture, tourism, sports, health, and elderly care, many new steel structure buildings have also emerged. For example, the construction industry has developed a new type of tent product - a hemispherical dome tent style steel structure, commonly used in tourist attractions, large-scale performance activities, tent hotels, exhibition promotions, and so on. The specifications and sizes of spherical tents are diverse, and the conventional spherical tent framework uses galvanized steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, and aluminum alloy frames, as well as steel doors and windows.

At present, the steel used in steel structure buildings is mostly domestic steel, which many domestic steel companies can produce. More powerful steel companies are entering the field of factory assembled buildings, promoting better and faster development of factory buildings. Independent development or strong alliance are the routes that steel enterprises can adopt in the future.
